Dr. Ravi Kumar Sangewar

Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering

Dr Ravi Kumar Sangewar is Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Aurora Deemed University, Hyderabad. He has more than 20 years of Teaching and five years of Research experience. Prior joining Aurora University he served as Professor and Dean Faculty of Engineering at Mandsaur University, Mandsaur (MP) and OP Jinal University, Raigarh (CG). His research work is cantered in solar energy utilization systems and waste hear recovery system. He has done extensive analytical and experimental research on extended surface Heat Transfer during his PhD and completed in the year 2010 from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

He has more than 25 publications to his credit in high impact factor Scopus Journals and Presented more than 20 research papers at international conferences. He has a patent in desalination of water using solar energy and published one more patent on utilizing of AI in solar energy in Indian Patent Journal.

At Mandsaur University, created powerful and compelling curricula for UG and PG of Mechanical Engineering and promoted an open and interactive classroom environment for enhanced learning Planned and implemented an inspiring curriculum at OP Jindal University that effectively introduced students into the world of Mechanical Engineering (BoS Chairman in Syllabus framing committee) Worked with diverse students and successfully contributed to the department's mission. As a convener he has Organised four international conferences at Mandsaur University and OP Jindal University on Advances in Engineering and Technology during last ten years.
