Dr. S. Pavan Kumar

Dr. S. Pavan Kumar, Associate Professor of Applied Statistics and Mathematics, holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research & Statistical Quality Control from Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh with a specialization of Reliability Engineering models. The doctoral work 鈥淥ptimization of Integrated Redundant Reliability Coherent Systems鈥� was completed in the year 2014 under the guidance of Professor C. Uma Shankar, Ex Registrar, Rastriya Sanskrit Vidya Peeta, Tirupathi, under his guidance, also completed a Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in the year 2005 with the work 鈥淥ptimization of an Integrated Reliability Models for Redundant Systems.鈥�

With over 21 years of teaching experience in institutions such as GITAM (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru Campus for five years and Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (SBIT) Khammam for 13 years, he has made significant research contributions to the field through 14 research papers and two book chapters (Elsevier & De Gruyter) and published a book titled 鈥淥perations Research and Its Applications.鈥� His research interests focus on Reliability Theory, Inventory, and Queuing Models.
